Guidance and Social Work

The department mission expresses the nature of the work of Guidance and Social Work.

Based upon an understanding of the diverse strengths and needs of our community's families and youth, the Department of Guidance and Social Work strives to:

  • provide visionary leadership;
  • focus on the development of the whole child;
  • Foster interdependence (between school, family, and community);
  • encourage growth, fulfillment, and renewal;

in order to educate every child to meet current and future challenges.
