We bring the university into the classroom. The University Connections model is based on the concept of students as active learners with teachers and university partners acting as facilitators. Students and teacher facilitators utilize quality tools and practices in the design, implementation, and evaluation of learning modules in the sciences and humanities.

In grades kindergarten through fifth grade, students participate in a rotation of learning activities that provide knowledge in the humanities and sciences. University partners bring their knowledge and expertise into classroom learning.

Students, families, staff, unversity partners and community members participate in exciting Cultural Center activities. Our Cultural Center gives students additional opportunities for instruction in the humanities.
