Spring Teacher Job Fair

School level administrators will be interviewing candidates interested in filling current vacancies and vacancies for the 2003-04 school year.

Schedule	8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. Registration 9:00 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. Open Fair to Schedule Interviews 10:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Scheduled Interviews Conducted

Candidates should have completed student teaching or have teaching experience. *
Relocation Specialists will be available to assist candidates with relocation needs.
Licensure Specialists will speak about North Carolina Licensure requirements.
Teacher Induction Program information will be made available.
WCPSS Profile Books will be provided to supply general information about participating schools as well as current and potential job vacancies for the 2003-2004 school year.
Contracts for employment will be offered to outstanding candidates. **
Candidates may provide resumes to administrators of schools in which they have an interest.

Salary Ranges

Note: Salary range is based on years of experience. Salary ranges reflect 2002-2003 pay scale.

BS/BA A Level Classroom Teacher - $28,153 to $52,527
MA/MS Masters Degree Level Teacher - $31,114 to $58,032

Additions - $126 added per month for an Advanced Teaching License,$253 added per month for an earned Doctorate Teaching License.

Directions to Wakefield High School

Take I-440/Beltline to exit 10 (Wake Forest Road). Take Wake Forest Road north for approximately 8-_ mi. Note: Wake Forest Road will turn into Falls of the Neuse Road.

Or from I-40, take the I-540 exit to the Falls of the Neuse Road exit and turn left.

Wakefield High School is located on the corner of Falls of the Neuse Road and Wakefield Pines Drive at 2200 Wakefield Pines Drive.
