If you are fully licensed, have completed your student teaching, or are eligible for a valid teaching license, join hundreds of other candidates at the Spring Teacher Job Fair. School administrators will be on site to conduct interviews and to offer contracts to selected applicants. Pre-registration is required.
Candidates are encouraged to complete and submit all components of the WCPSS application before the job fair. See the To Apply section below for more information.

This job fair is highly attended and candidates are encouraged to arrive at the site promptly. Bring multiple copies of your résumé, your Praxis test score report or your state's test scores, your teaching license, and your transcripts.

To Apply
To apply for a teaching position with the Wake County Public Schools, you must:
- Fill out the State of NC Teacher's application: http://schooljobs.dpi.state.nc.us/. Remember to choose Wake County as one of the school systems you want your application sent to.
- Download, complete and send in the WCPSS Supplemental Application Form: http://www.wcpss.net/forms/application_supplement.pdf

- Contracts for employment may be offered on site to select applicants.
- Bonuses are available to fully licensed candidates in critical-needs areas which include: Mathematics, General Science, and Special Education.
- Licensure Specialists will provide information concerning North Carolina Licensure requirements.
- Candidates may provide résumé to administrators of schools in which they have an interest.

Salary Range Based On Years Of Experience
- BA/BS Degree Level Classroom Teacher - $33,691.90 - $60,543.00
- MA/MS Masters Degree Level Teacher - $37,230.40 - $66,886.10
- 12% increase for National Board Certification

Directions From NC 540
Take exit 283 from I-40 on to NC 540 West. Continue on NC 540 West and take exit 66A on to NC 55 East. Travel 0.8 miles on NC 55 East and a large green sign on the side of NC 55 East will direct you to turn at the traffic light on to McCrimmon Parkway. Panther Creek is 0.5 miles on the right at 6770 McCrimmon Parkway in Cary.
Directions From I-40
Take exit 278; go south on NC 55 East for approximately 5 miles. After going under the NC 540 overpass, turn right on to McCrimmon Parkway at the traffic signal. Green Panther Creek High School signs on NC 55 will help direct you. Panther Creek is 0.5 miles on the right at 6770 McCrimmon Parkway in Cary.
Directions From Cary/Apex
Take NC 55 West towards Durham and pass through High House Road/NC 55 intersection. Go 3.1 miles from High House Road and turn left on to McCrimmon Parkway. Green Panther Creek High School signs on NC 55 will help direct you. Panther Creek is 0.5 miles on the right at 6770 McCrimmon Parkway in Cary.
Green Hope High School
Take I-440 to US-1 South. Take US-1 to 64 West at MacGregor Park. Next, take NC 55 toward Morrisville. Turn right on High House Road. Turn left on Carpenter Upchurch Road. The school is about 2 miles down the road on the right.
Alternate Route: Take I-40 to Aviation Parkway, take Aviation Parkway west crossing Highway 54, crossing Davis Drive, left onto Carpenter Upchurch and GHHS is about 1/2 mile on the left.
