• About

Oakview Elementary opened as one of four new elementary schools for the Wake County Public School System during the 2016-2017 school year.  We serve students from Pre-K through 5th grade and operate on a traditional school calendar.

On December 1, 2015, the WCPSS School Board appointed Steve Moore as principal to lead the opening of the school.  Mr. Moore started the school after serving as principal of Fuquay Varina Elementary in WCPSS since 2009.
