High Schools Schedule 2010 Freshman Camps
All Wake County high schools will be offering freshman camps or orientation sessions this summer to help our rising ninth-graders begin their journey as the Class of 2014.
Each high school has developed its own camp to help personalize school for the students, helping them make valuable connections with faculty and staff and get oriented to the campus prior to the first day of school. By focusing on relationship- and team-building exercises, the camps help ensure members of the Class of 2014 get off to a good start.
While the students are learning about their new schools, several schools will also be offering information sessions for parents.
The Wake Early College of Health and Sciences held their camps in June. All other camps will be held in July and August with the first camp beginning on July 14 for students attending Southeast Raleigh High. Check your individual school’s website for more information about their camp.
