You can choose to view the 1999 End-of-Grade (EOG) test results several ways: by Elementary School, by Grade and Subject and by Middle School.

The scores are given as the percentage of the students at at school that scored at the achievement level indicated on the chart. A detailed explanation of what the achievement levels mean is given below.


Achievement Levels Explained:

Level 1 - Students performing at this level do not have sufficient mastery of knowledge and skills in this subject area to be successful at the next grade level.

Level 2 - Students performing at this level demonstrate inconsistent mastery of the knowledge and skills in this subject area, and are minimally prepared to be successful at the next grade level.

Level 3 - Students performing at this level consistently demonstrate mastery of grade level subject matter and skills and are well prepared for the next grade level.

Level 4 - Students performing at this level consistently perform in a superior manner clearly beyond that required to be proficient at grade level work.

Level 3 &4 - The total percentage of students performing "at or above" grade level.
